About this collection

Riobel Nibi

Nibi is the one shaped like a lighthouse, and Riobel means that literally. The body tapers conically from a rounded base, so the form reads as urban and industrial at the top and classical at the bottom. It is the most sculptural thing in the Riobel range — straight geometry given weight by a curve at the foot.

It photographs particularly well in brushed gold, which is how Riobel shoots it.

Side handle or top handle — check your clearance first

The single-hole Nibi faucet is made two ways, and this is a practical decision, not a cosmetic one:

  • Side handle — the lever sits on the side of the body. Lower overall height, but it needs room to swing sideways.
  • Top handle — the lever sits on top. Nothing projects sideways, so it works where the basin sits close to a wall or a splashback.

If the faucet is going into a corner, against a backsplash, or under a low window, measure before you choose. The top-handle version is the one that fits where the side handle will not. The tall vessel-sink faucet is offered with the side handle.

What is in the collection
Which valve each Nibi trim needs
  • TNB51R51 — one shower head
  • TNB23 and TNB44R23 — up to three functions
  • TNB45 and TNB47R45 — up to five

Share runs more than one outlet at once; No Share sends water to one at a time through a diverter. See Riobel Shower Valves & Rough-Ins.

Finishes

Nibi is offered in Chrome (C), Brushed Nickel (BN), Black (BK) and Brushed Gold (BG). The tapered body is what carries a warm finish — brushed gold is the one Riobel photographs it in, and it suits the shape better than a flat profile would.

Accessories

Nibi does not have an accessory range under its own name. Riobel pairs it with the Star accessory line in its own photography, which is the closest match if you want towel bars and hooks to sit with it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the side handle and top handle Nibi faucet?
Where the lever sits. The side handle needs clearance to swing sideways; the top handle does not, so it suits a basin tight against a wall or splashback. Same valve, same spout.

Which rough-in valve does a Nibi shower kit need?
Read the number in the trim code: TNB51 takes an R51, TNB23 and TNB44 take an R23, TNB45 and TNB47 take an R45. The 4744 kit ships with its rough-in included.

What does -CW mean on the 323 kit?
The ceiling and wall shower arm is included.

Does Nibi have matching towel bars?
Not under its own name. Riobel styles it with the Star accessory line. If matching accessories matter, Zendo, Paradox and Momenti have their own.
