About this collection

Baril Rec B05

Rec is the squared-off suite in the Baril range — rectangular spouts and flat escutcheons, where Beaumont is rounded and Zip is minimal. It suits a bathroom built on straight lines: rectangular basin, large-format tile, squared shower niche.

What Rec covers
  • Lavatory faucets — single-hole, high single-hole and 8" centre-to-centre, with or without drain.
  • Tub filler — two-piece deck-mount with hand shower.
  • Shower kits and trims — pressure-balance, thermostatic and combined thermostatic pressure-balanced, in wall-arm and ceiling-arm versions.
  • Diverter and stop-valve trims — for two- and three-port diverters and 3/4" stop valves.
Diverters — one, two or three way

A diverter is what sends water to one outlet or another, and the number you need is simply the number of things you want to run. One rain head alone needs none. A rain head plus a handheld needs a one- or two-way. Add body sprays or a tub spout and you are at three.

Getting this wrong is not fixable with a trim swap — the diverter lives in the valve body, behind the tile. Count the outlets before you order.

Complete kit or trim only

PRO- and PRR- codes include the valve body; TRO- and TRR- are the visible parts alone. Trim-only is right for a refresh where the valve stays, wrong for new construction. See Shower Rough-In Valves or send us the model and we will confirm.

Frequently asked questions

How many diverter ways do I need?
Count the outlets you want to run — rain head, handheld, body sprays, tub spout. One outlet needs no diverter; each additional one adds a way.

Can I add an outlet later?
Not without changing the valve body, which means opening the wall. Decide at rough-in.

Is Rec a full bathroom suite?
It covers faucets, tub filler and shower. For towel bars and holders in a matching squared look, see Zip B66 or Bath Accessories.

What does B05 mean?
The Rec series code — B05 on faucets, T05 on trims.
