Geberit has been Swiss since 1874 and effectively created this category — it introduced the first all-plastic toilet cistern in 1952 and has been the reference for concealed in-wall systems ever since. If a plumber specifies a carrier without being asked, it is usually this one.

Framing decides the model. Duofix carriers are built for either 2x4 or 2x6 construction and the two are not interchangeable, so confirm your wall depth first. The carrier, the bowl and the actuator plate are three separate purchases, and plates are matched to the tank family — a Sigma plate does not fit an Omega tank. Order all three together so the flush volumes and the plate opening line up.
