About this collection
Riobel Equinox
Equinox is Riobel's squared, architectural line — flat planes and right angles rather than curves. It is one of the two most complete collections Riobel makes, running from the lavatory faucet through the shower to the tub filler, so a whole bathroom can be specified without leaving the series.
It also has the widest valve range of any Riobel collection, including 3/4" high-flow and a dedicated volume control. If you are building a large shower, this is the series that will take it.
What is in the collection
- Lavatory faucets — single-hole with push drain, a version with a side handle for tight wall clearance, tall vessel, widespread, and wall-mount including the 360° trim.
- Shower kits — complete with rough-in (2745, 3545, 446, 4744) and trim-only (323, 1244, 1345, 6513), in 2-way and 3-way configurations.
- Shower trims — the full valve range, see the table below.
- Tub fillers — floor-mount thermostatic, wall-mount, and 3-hole deck-mount in both thermostatic and pressure-balance, plus a wall-mount tub spout.
Which valve each Equinox trim needs
Riobel encodes the rough-in valve in the trim model number. For Equinox:
- TEQ51N → R51 — pressure balance, one function
- TEQ23N and TEQ44N → R23 — up to three functions
- TEQ45N and TEQ47N → R45 — up to five functions
- TEQ46N → R46 — 3/4", six functions, two independent temperature controls
- TEQ13W1LM → 1005N — 3/4" thermostatic, temperature only, needs a separate volume control
- TEQ20 — the matching 1/2" volume control trim
Items marked Share can run more than one outlet at the same time. No Share means one outlet at a time through a diverter. Decide which before the wall closes — see Riobel Shower Valves & Rough-Ins.
Finishes
Equinox is offered in Chrome (C), Polished Nickel (PN), Brushed Nickel (BN) and Black (BK). Chrome, black and the PVD finishes carry Riobel's limited lifetime warranty.

Frequently asked questions
Which rough-in valve does an Equinox shower kit need?
Read the number in the trim code. TEQ51N takes an R51, TEQ23N and TEQ44N take an R23, TEQ45N and TEQ47N take an R45, and TEQ46N takes a 3/4" R46. Kits sold “with rough-in valve” already include it.
What is the difference between Share and No Share?
Share runs more than one outlet at once — a rain head and a handheld together. No Share sends water to one outlet at a time. It is a property of the valve, so it cannot be changed afterwards.
Can I mix Equinox with another Riobel collection?
Across different rooms, yes. Within one bathroom, no — the handle and plate shapes are designed as a set and the difference shows.
Does Equinox have matching accessories?
Not in the accessory range. If you want matching towel bars and rings, look at Arca, Zendo, Paradox or Momenti.
