Tenzo Pro 2 & 3-Function Pressure Balance Shower Rough-In Valve - R-PB23

Tenzo Pro 2 & 3-Function Pressure Balance Shower Rough-In Valve - R-PB23

The rough-in body for a Tenzo Pro two or three function pressure balance shower valve, available with three supply connections.

Choosing a connection

• PEX (R-PB23-P) — 1/2" PEX crimp connections
• NPT (R-PB23-N) — 1/2" male NPT threads, solderable directly to copper
• Expansion PEX (R-PB23-W) — 1/2" expansion PEX connections

Features

• Pressure balanced valve, plumbed for two or three functions.
• Adjustable water temperature limiter and adjustable flow control.
• Integrated service valve with non-return valves.
• Test cap included, so the rough can be pressure-tested before the wall is closed.
• 28 mm [1-1/8"] minimum to maximum depth adjustment.
• Body measures 110 x 140 mm, set 53 mm to 78 mm behind the finished wall.
• One body serves both the shared and the non-shared trims; the diverter cartridge in the trim decides which.

Good to know

• The cartridges are not in the rough. They are supplied with the trim, so the valve body can go in the wall before the finish is chosen.
• The matching trims are the Tenzo Pro SMART-TRIM two and three function trims, such as F-GAPB22S, F-GAPB23S, F-KAPB22S and F-KAPB23S.
• Shared zones let more than one outlet run at once; the not-shared trims give each outlet its own control. The rough is the same either way.
• Pressure balanced, so it holds the set temperature against pressure changes elsewhere in the house.

Certifications & Warranty

• ASME A112.18.1 / CSA B125.1
• Limited lifetime warranty
