Kitchen Filter & Beverage Faucets

A dedicated filtered-water tap does one thing a filter jug cannot: it makes filtered water the default. No refilling, no waiting, no bottle in the fridge. It also keeps the filter cartridge out of your main faucet, so the mixer keeps full flow for washing up. Eunoia carries filter and beverage faucets from Rohl, Perrin & Rowe, Baril, Brizo, Delta, Riobel, Vogt, Blanco and Grohe.

Four different things on one page
  • Filter faucets — cold filtered water only, from a small dedicated spout. The most common setup, and the least intrusive.
  • Beverage faucets — the same idea in a design that matches the main kitchen faucet, so the pair reads as intentional rather than an add-on. Worth it when the tap sits in a visible island.
  • Reverse-osmosis faucets — specified for an RO system rather than a carbon filter. Brizo and Rohl label these models RO. It matters, because an RO system delivers water more slowly and at lower pressure, and the connection differs.
  • Hot water and filter combinations — one tap delivering both instant near-boiling water and filtered cold. These need a tank under the sink and a power outlet, and they replace a kettle rather than supplement it.
What you also need

The faucet is not the filter. It is the tap the filtered water comes out of. You will also need a filtration system under the sink — see Kitchen Filter Systems — and it is worth choosing that first, because reverse-osmosis systems have different flow characteristics and connection requirements than carbon-block filters.

Check your sink or counter has a spare hole. A dedicated filter tap needs its own penetration. If your sink is drilled for a single-hole faucet and a soap dispenser and nothing else, something has to give — or the counter has to be drilled, which on stone means a fabricator.

Instant-hot models need a tank and an outlet. Confirm there is space and a receptacle in the cabinet before ordering.

Matching the main faucet

The filter tap sits next to your main kitchen faucet and will be seen with it every day. Buy both from the same brand and collection where you can — finishes vary in undertone between manufacturers even when the names match, and two near-identical brushed nickels beside each other look like a mistake rather than a choice.

Frequently asked questions

Does a filter faucet include the filter?
No. The faucet is the tap; the filtration system is separate and installs under the sink. Choose the system first, since different technologies have different flow and connection requirements.

Do I need an extra hole in my sink?
Yes — a dedicated filter tap needs its own hole. If your sink has no spare, the countertop can be drilled, though on stone or quartz that means a fabricator.

What is the difference between a filter faucet and a beverage faucet?
Function is the same. Beverage faucets are styled to match a specific kitchen faucet collection, so the pair looks deliberate. Filter faucets are usually simpler and less expensive.

Do I need a special faucet for reverse osmosis?
Check the model is specified for RO. Reverse-osmosis systems run slower and at lower pressure than carbon filters, and the faucets built for them account for that. Brizo and Rohl both list RO-specific models.

Do instant-hot faucets need electricity?
Yes. They heat water in a tank under the sink, which needs both cabinet space and a power outlet.
