• Two deck penetrations: one for the spout column, one for the hand shower. Confirm the tub deck has both.
• Pressure balanced, not thermostatic — it holds temperature against pressure changes, not against supply temperature drift.

• BE31-C-PB is the same faucet with a larger, deeper knurl.
